MyBioSource.com's S adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (ACHY) Antibody (N-term) is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to work in applications such as: ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, and Western Blot. The S adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (ACHY) Antibody (N-term) was generated using Adenosylhomocysteinase, AHCY, S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase, and SAHH as the antigen and it reacts with Human, Non-Human Primate, and Porcine.

Description

S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (AHCY) catalyzes the reversible hydrolysis of S-adenosylhomocysteine (AdoHcy) to adenosine (Ado) and L-homocysteine (Hcy). Thus, it regulates the intracellular S-adenosylhomocysteine (SAH) concentration thought to be important for transmethylation reactions. Deficiency in this protein is one of the different causes of hypermethioninemia. S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase belongs to the adenosylhomocysteinase family
